Jackie and Matt’s snow wedding at the Phoenixville Foundry – Philadelphia Wedding Photography

It’s been quite a while since my last blog post, so here is a real big one with tons of photos, and one of my favorite weddings ever!

I photographed Jackie’s brother’s wedding the year before and it was a real fun group, so I knew it was going to be an awesome party. When the forecast said snow (on the weekend before Halloween!!) I suggested boots and umbrellas, and Jackie chose her favorite: zebra print.:-)

A crazy-fun couple with tons of personality + fresh snow on bright fall colors + the incredible Phoenixville Foundry = great photo opportunities!! Thank you to the entire bridal party for putting up with the sleet and snow to help Jackie and Matt have great photos to remember their wedding day!

The image of the groom holding the umbrella while the bride shows off her rain/snow boots is my favorite! Love the bridal party pics too. Fantastic work!

Having fun on the job!

Since tomorrow is New Years Day I thought I’d post a few pictures from “behind the scenes” of me and my awesome second shooters… it was a great year, and I look forward to an amazing 2012! Thank you Ann, Cara, Derek, Ashlee and Alicia! (And as a filler shot there’s just one pic of my son, Tyler, helping me charge my batteries.)

Kate and Andy’s wedding at Villanova Conference Center

Kate and Andy chose the Villanova Conference Center to have their fall wedding, and it was a beautiful day! The bridal party and families were all a fun group and we had a great time goofing around during the formal session. The ceremony was held at St. Philip Neri in Lafayette Hill, home of one of the most beautiful stained glass windows I have seen. The sun shone in the church in just the right way leaving patches of color everywhere- so I had to use it for a few killer bride and groom shots!

Beautiful images and I love the silhouette shots in the church against the bold bright colors! The bride and groom look so happy too…they must love these!

Zoe - January 4, 2012 - 2:34 pm

Beautiful, and like Gina, I love that sihouette in the church!

Kate and Tripp’s Center City Philadelphia Wedding

We had SO MUCH FUN photographing Kate and Tripp on Saturday. We started at the Hyatt at Penn’s Landing (what a view!) then went to Independence Park for formals. The bridal party was super fun and we had a blast thinking of new pose ideas. The ceremony was at Old St. Mary’s in Olde City and then we went back to the Hyatt for a great party overlooking the river.

Here are just a few of my favorites… it was really hard to narrow it down, lots more coming soon!

Michelle and Sam at Penn Oaks Golf Club – West Chester wedding photography

Michelle and Sam tied the knot on Sunday at Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester. We had BEAUTIFUL weather and gorgeous blue skies. This is the second of three weddings I am photographing for this family and every single family member is a pleasure to work with!! We did formals before the ceremony, as you can see from the “first sight” photos, which I love to do. I can’t wait to share more, but here are just a few sneak peeks.
